Ferguson Sensei began his training at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida in 1982, under the direction of Michael "Ce" Casanova Sensei.  Ferguson Sensei was privileged to train exclusively with Casanova Sensei from 1982 until 1992 and was the President of the Barry University Aikido Club from 1982 - 1986, which was affiliated with Saotome Sensei's Aikido Schools of Ueshiba Federation.  Ferguson Sensei remains eternally grateful and indebted to Casanova Sensei for his kindness, superior instruction and friendship.
